| Directions Preheat your oven to 350° F. Lightly mix all the ingredients until well combined using only half of the ketchup. Shape mixture into a loaf and place on a greased 10" x 15" jelly roll pan, or in a loaf pan. Spread the remaining ketchup on top of the meat loaf. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Remove from oven when the internal temperature reaches 165° F. |

| Notes I found the original version of this recipe in a cookbook
from the 1920s. It is very good served with mashed potatoes, green peas and a simple Sweet and Sour Sauce, also from the 1920s. |
