Easy "Remoulade" Sauce
Not a real Remoulade Sauce... but nearly as good and it has five ingredients not 14. And nothing in it has to be peeled, chopped or fussed over.


  • Makes 3-4 servings

    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    1 tablespoon Crystal hot sauce
    1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
    1 tablespoon Cajun or Dijon mustard
    1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish

Mix all ingredients together. Chill for one hour. Serve it as a dipping sauce for cold cooked shrimp or crab legs. Or as a sandwich spread.


This Remoulade-style sauce was adapted from 'Super Simple Remoulade Sauce' by cookandcookagain on the website. Emeril's Remoulade sauce is wonderful, too, but it has 14 ingredients and gets your food processor real messy. This recipe has just five ingredients and you make it in the dish you will serve it in.
