• This makes enough for 6 to 8 steaks.
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice or rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun or Dijon Mustard
  • Optional: 2 large garlic cloves crushed and chopped
  • Optional: 1 cup of thinly sliced onion

Mix all ingredients and pour over steaks. Marinate for four to six hours before grilling.


This works well on cubes of steak used for kabobs, too.
